Bath and Body Works Haul!

Hey Dolls,

This week is part 2 of my American Haul, so lets get going!

First up is a load of Pocket bacs, I bought 12 because you just can never have enough and I couldn’t go to Bath and Body without picking them up! I’ll insert a small selection below, but all the scents I picked were absolutely lovely!

To go with all the hand sanitiser I picked up a hand cream which is a new scent of Amber and Argan, it smells amazing! I also got the Cherry soap for my bathroom at uni which smells lovely and doesn’t dry out your hands!

Finally I chose two room sprays which I initially wanted as candles but due to suitcase space and weight restrictions I couldn’t get the candles so got the sprays instead which I am really pleased with because not only do they smell fab the scent lasts for ages, so I would definitely recommend them!

Sephora Haul!

Hey Dolls,

This week is part 1 of my American Haul, part 2 will be coming next week! Also sorry for missing 2 posts I moved back to university and had some family things going on so needed to focus on them but I’m back now!

I went to Sephora in Boston and in New York, mum and I spent a bomb but it was worth it! So lets get into the haul!

sephora 2.JPG

First up we got the Cover FX Mattifying Kit which includes the primer, powder and setting spray- perfect for travelling with. Next up was the Tarte Rain Forest of the Sea palette, Oh my the colours in this palette are insane and I would highly recommend Tarte palettes for incredible blend-ability and pigmentation. We also picked up the Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette, again great for travelling which includes a bronzer, blush and highlight. Also I couldn’t go to Sephora and not pick up a tonne of Sephora own brand face, lip and foot masks! They are amazing and so affordable! Last up in this section was my favourite Chloe Perfume in a rollerball, perfect for popping in your bag on nights out!

Our next trip resulted in more purchases from Tarte! I purchased the Scrub clean kit which includes the Friction stick and Rain Forest of the Sea collection cleanser as well as a little mitt to get your pores clean, as well as the Amazonian Clay BB cream- I have been so impressed with this product, the coverage is good, it doesn’t slide off like a lot of other BB creams and leaves my skin looking flawless! I also grabbed another bottle of my fave Dry bar Shampoo as well as a Huda Beauty Lip Contour in the most stunning nude shade! I also picked up a Makeup forever Mist and Fix as my setting spray has run out and I love it! Its really hydrating and keeps my makeup in place all day!

Our final trip to Sephora was a much smaller one in which I mainly purchased their travel size items so I could give a few products a try without paying full price to find out I hated them- I am a student after all!

Mum needed a new ABH brow definer so we picked one up as well as a couple of sleep masks, one of which we used on the plane home which I highly recommend! I also picked up the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara as everyone raves about it and I must admit I agree its great! The other Too Faced product I picked up was the Born this way concealer which I love the only problem is its a tiny bit too light for my skin tone but covers dark circles and blemishes with ease!

Next weeks part 2 hauls is Bath and Body works!

Clothing Haul: SALES!

Hey Dolls,

Last week I took a trip to Bluewater and found some great items in the sale, take a look at what I found!

First up Zara, I prefer buying things from Zara in the sale as the majority of their stock eventually goes into sale so here’s what I got: This lovely grey light weight knit dress with a ruffle on the sleeve (£12.99), Cream Blazer with split sleeves (£19.99) and a rusty orange asymmetric dress (£17.99)

Bluewater now holds the 2md Misguided store and I was super excited to see what was inside, I wasn’t disappointed! I found a lovely white loose fitting top with a ruffle neck line (£10.50), a pair of ruffle trousers in my favourite mint green (£12.50) and a necklace for the bargain price of (£3.50)

In need of some new gym wear I decided to see what House of Fraser had to offer (after browsing the whole store, I love HoF!) I found some hidden gems. First up a grey longline Calvin Klein vest (£17), to match the top I also got a pair of grey crop leggings with Tiffany blue accents from label lab (£12). Then onto the blue outfit, the top is from Biba and has a split open back (£12) but my biggest bargain of the day was the bottoms which I got from Victoria’s Secret, these blue knockout capris were reduced from £60 to £13.50!!!!

My final item was one I ordered from ASOS, these baby pink wedges to wear to a wedding I am going to later this month, they are super comfy (I had to wear them in) and match perfectly with my dress (summer wedding guest GRWM coming soon!) and they were reduced to £25.

Some sales are still on so go and see if you can bag a bargain!

NYC Haul!

Hey Dolls,

This week is my New York Haul after my trip last week (sorry for missing post I was exploring and shopping)

This Haul is from Sephora and Bath&Body Works, so let’s get started!

First up Sephora, this was my first trip to a store and OMG I was in heaven! I also was already signed up as a beauty insider and luckily got a 10% off code to use when I was there! I went with a list otherwise I knew I would go way over budget!

Every girl loves dry shampoo so I wanted to try Dry detox after hearing rave reviews, luckily this was the only thing the from ‘fly’ zone that ended up in my basket. As Tarte isn’t available in the U.K. I knew I wanted to get a palette. I chose the Amazonian Clay Matte one as it has beautiful colours!

Moving onto lips! I purchased a Tarte lip paint in ‘so fetch’ as I have heard nothing but good things and thought the colour would be perfect for summer! I also picked up the Bite Beauty ‘The Perfect Pair” minis in the shades meringue and fig.

As I was at Sephora it would be rude not to pick up a selection of their own brand masks! I chose 2 lip masks, 2 eye masks and 2 face masks as I love them and they are great value for money!

Bath and Body works was next and of course I couldn’t resist the pocketbacs, as they are great value and smell amazing! I picked up Maui, Magic in the Air, Need Vacay, You are my sunshine and Cucumber Melon. They are so convenient, I love them! My final purchase was a 3 wick candle with this super cute copper lid in the scent ‘white beach sands’ not only does it smell amazing but all their 3 wicks had $10 off! If I had any spare room in my case I definitely would have bought a few more!

I’ll be doing a review of the eyeshadow palette and lipsticks soon so look out for that!  I’m back in the US in September so if anyone has any beauty faves they recommend let me know!

Mini Sephora Haul and First Impressions

Hey Dolls,

I’m back! Exams are over and so is sixth form and A Levels! Can’t wait for a super long summer!

After lusting over the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks for months and them not  being available in the UK I decided to bite the bullet I decided to place a Sephora order as I was also desperate to try the Sephora own brand face and eye masks.

I got 3 eye masks and 3 face masks. My eyes have been super dry lately thanks to my fab friend Hayfever! IMG_5879

When I first saw the packaging I loved it, I mean how cute are the colours and the fact they are light and small makes them great for travelling and flights! I will keep you updated when I use them about which were my favourite and if some weren’t so great! They are also inexpensive ranging from £4-£6 perfect when your on a budget!

Ok so now on to the main event! After seeing all the YouTube hype about the quality of ABH lip products I couldn’t resist! I ordered the shades ‘Spicy’ and ‘Dolce’ so that I could compare the pigmentation and coverage of a bright colour and a nude. Also I love bright orangey reds with a bronzy gold makeup look for summer. I haven’t put them on my lips yet but on my hand they felt super hydrating and velvety. Confession, after seeing how much Jaclyn Hill loves Marc Jacobs lip glosses and the fact that I love a lipgloss for the summer months I also ordered one in the shade ‘Some Girls’. I will attach swatches and the packaging which is also sooooo cute!!

Will keep you updated on how I find the products!

And remember darlings don’t let anyone dull your sparkle!
