You’ve reached the end of the week, valentines is over and now its all about a good old Girls Night In!

Send the message to the Squad group chat, get your PJ’s and face masks on!

Grab your popcorn, rose, hot chocolate and whatever else you fancy, its going to be a GNI to remember!

Ok so it proved to be quite hard to narrow down just a top 10 so here are a few that didn’t quite make it before we get into the chart; 27 Dresses, 10 Things I hate about you, Bridesmaids, How to be Single, The Other Woman

Now the films that have made the list are absolute classics. So let’s get into it!

10. Silver Linings Playbook- Any film with Bradley Cooper in is already of to a great start to be honest! Two friends who are off the rails are about to go on a crazy rollercoaster ride of love with lots of ups and downs!

9. Devil Wears Prada- The tales of a new graduate finding her feet in the harsh world of fashion with an extremely demanding boss! What could possibly go wrong!

8. Pretty Woman- An absolute classic! Yes it’s old but its still fantastic. The rich guy falls for the girl he shouldn’t, so cliche but so good!

7. The Bridget Jones Franchise- Anyone who tells me they can’t relate to Bridget Jones is a liar in my eyes! This trilogy is guaranteed to have you laughing, crying and feeling a bucket full of emotions!

6. Mean Girls- If you are a girl and you haven’t seen Mean Girls, where have you been? The basis of 90’s kids memes, the burn book became something everyone wanted to do with their squad and if your telling me you’ve never worn pink on a Wednesday I won’t believe you

So now we are in to my top 5!

5. Clueless- Another Cult classic for our generation, the girl who has everything yet there is just one thing missing, will she find it?

4. DreamGirls- First of all can we just talk about the cast of this film! A female powerhouse duo of Queen Bey and Jennifer Hudson! YASSSS The film is all about female empowerment and what we may lose in the quest for fame. If your in need of a confidence boost this is the film for you!

3. The Duff- A tale of a girl who has got lost in the crowd and lives in the shadows of her gorgeous best friends. It takes humiliation, losing her best friends and a super cute jock to help her find her way again! Another super relatable film especially for our generation!

2. Legally Blonde- I think everyone who watches this film wants to be Elle Woods! A blonde girl who doesn’t let stereotypes stop her from being a butt kicking lawyer.

And taking the top spot, although slightly seasonal its….

1.Love Actually- I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen this film and I each time I love it slightly more. The stories are so heart warming and the comedy moments are fantastic so in my opinion it definitely comes in at number 1!

Morphe 35O Palette!

Hey Dolls,

This weeks post is about cult beauty product the Morphe 350 Palette.

This Palette is full of beautiful warm toned shimmers and mattes creating the perfect essential, every occasion palette.

The price of this palette is amazing for the quality and pigmentation of the eyeshadows you receive. £23.50 on cultbeauty.co.uk which still have a waiting list for this must have palette!

I decided to purchase the palette due to the YouTube and blogging hype that surrounded it and I must say I have not been disappointed!

The pigmentation of the shimmers is insane and much better than a lot of the higher end eyeshadow palettes I own, especially the UD Naked Palettes (I love them too!)

The 35O is mostly orange based shades which a good selection of highlight shades and a lovely selection of browns.

I have swatched all 35 shades for you so you can see for yourself how stunning they are and although I only have this Morphe Palette I would definitely recommended you trying one that suits your eye colour and is full of shades you will wear.

Mark Hill Pick ‘n’ Mix Wand

Hey Dolls,

I want to talk about the Mark Hill Pick ‘n’ Mix wand because in my opinion I think it is amazing and such good value for money! This wand is super versatile with 5 different barrels available it has something to suit everyone! The concept is that you purchase the handle then as many of the barrels as you want separately.

I really love this wand because it is so affordable, the handle is £14.99 and all the barrels are £11.99 so if you wanted the wand and all barrels it would cost you around £75 which is such good value compared to other similar wands on the market. (available at Boots in store and online) The wand is perfect for me at uni as I have limited space and don’t have the storage available for 3 separate wands like I do at home but obviously I still wanted to be able to create a variety of curls and styles.

Also the packaging and design is AMAZING! I love the ombre pink and orange barrel! A great thing about the box is that there is a picture of a model on the front so you can see which styles you like best before purchasing which saves money and effort trying to search on line to see what results each barrel creates.

I have 3 barrels; small which creates tighter more defined curls, medium which creates looser ‘effortless’ curls and the wicked waver that creates different shaped waves with each section due to the barrel design giving a more natural finish. My personal favourite is the small barrel as I really like curls and volume! After curling each section I pin it using a clip and do my makeup whilst leaving them to cool, then I unclip, spray with hairspray (also Mark Hill-I’ll be reviewing his haircare range next week) and run some oil through.

I highly recommend this wand if you’re looking for a wand that is affordable and achieves long lasting stunning curls!

Review: Benefit Kissy Missy Kit

Hey Dolls,

Today is a review of the Benefit Kissy Missy Kit, I was gifted this for my birthday and was super excited to see two of the new Beyond Sexy lip liner and lipsticks inside along with the classic tints.

Let’s start with the new Beyond Sexy lip kits, in the box were shades ‘Pink Thrills’ and ‘Revved up Red’. The pigment of the product is fantastic and felt super moisturising when I swatched them (see below) and also on my lips. Like any beauty geek I love the concept of a liner and lippie in one but in practice after a few uses I feel it would be hard to accurately apply the liner after the point is not as sharp and you would probably need to use a lip brush. That being said I love the concept and the actual quality of the product as I always find it hard to find a liner and lipstick that compliment each other.

Next up is the tints and I have always loved these. This multi-purpose product is perfect for travelling as it doubles as both a lip and cheek tint. The two in the set were benetint which is a deep rose and lollitint which is a candy pink. (see swatches below)

Now on to the tints! I’ve used benetint before and love it so was very excited to try lollitint and I definitely wasn’t disappointed, the colours and pigment are brilliant and they are the perfect finish to a natural makeup look to add a pop of colour!! I haven’t swatched these as when I did the photo was just not doing the products justice so I suggest you pop into your local benefit store and give them a go for yourself! They also work perfectly as a base for under the Beyond Sexy Lipkits!

Overall I am very impressed with this product and would 100% recommend as a gift to a friend or a treat for yourself!

5 Tips to Boost your Confidence!

Hey Dolls,

Now I know it can be hard to be a confident person so here are my top tips to boost your confidence as well as fake your confidence!

Tip 1. Surround yourself with positive people- if you are in a group of happy, loud confident people their confidence will start to rub off on you and although it might be daunting they are the best kind of people to make you feel good about yourself

Tip 2. Smile and Posture- OK so let’s say your at a job interview, you are super nervous and don’t think you will get the job well its time to give the illusion you are confident! All you need to do is smile and stand up tall with your head up, your body language will make you look approachable and your posture will make you look self assured and confident.

Tip 3. REMOVE ALL NEGATIVE VIBES!!! There is nothing that will lower your confidence more than a group or individuals who don’t support you, criticise everything you do and want to make you miserable! Chances are they aren’t happy with who they are so wanna bring you down with them but these people are toxic cut them out your social circle

Tip 4. Wardrobe- Got a big event coming up or a event your nervous about well get out the outfit that makes you feel amazing, that black dress that knocks off 10lbs, those gorgeous heels that make you look 3 inches taller and that diamond bracelet that makes you sparkle, trust me an outfit says a million things! That goes for makeup and hair too, make sure you style yourself in the way that makes you feel your best!

Tip 5. Be Yourself- Hunni you better be yourself as every other bitch is taken! Don’t pretend to be something your not, in the end it will make you feel like crap when you realise the people around you don’t know who the real you is and your afraid to be yourself try and take the attitude that if someone doesn’t like you its because they are jealous of your fabulousness and you don’t need them in your life!

And remember darlings don’t EVER let anyone dull your sparkle!
